Recently the Digital Photography class has been given a Graphics Articulation
Agreement with Clark College. Read on to find out what that means to you.
What is Articulation? Articulation is a chance to get college
credit while taking a class here atPrairie High School. When you complete the
class and fulfill the requirement list below.
Requirements for Graphics Articulation :
1. The student must have successfully passed the equivalent class (Digital
Photography) at Prairie High School with a grade of an "A-" or better.
2. Go through a portfolio review by the Clark College Graphics Dept. in the
following manner :
a. Turn in your portfolio (items in Assignment Notebook) to your instructor.
The instructor must send all the porfolios to Clark at the same time. Portfolio
shouldinclude the following.
- CD with your layered files for each project.
- Printed color copies (mounted on mat board)
- Documentation of the Photoshop Techniques used.
- Submitted in a professional portfolio package.
b. The Clark College Graphics Depart. Will review the portfolio and notify the
high school ubstructor by email which student's work is acceptable.
c. High School Student who qualify will submit a Tech Prep Direct CreditSutdent
Registration Form within three weeks of the course end date in order to get
the credits of their Clark College.
